In 2016 I started teaching MODO to Industrial Design students at Humber College in Toronto, Ontario. I had been using the software for several years and found it to be an incredibly powerful tool for industrial design and I wanted to share these skills with other like minded designers.
Most industrial designers are unfamiliar with polygonal modeling as the industry favors NURBS software packages like SolidWorks or Rhino. That required developing learning materials that introduced an entirely new modeling paradigm while also translating existing 3D application skill sets.
Following the success of my first class, I branched out to teach independently through a 'school' I founded called LearnSpace T.O. that operates in downtown Toronto. We offer classes that range from 8 weeks to 2 day workshops.
